Each year, property owners are mailed value notices informing them of the values placed on their properties. Edina property owners were mailed value notices March 23. If you have questions on the notice you received or disagree with your 2021 property valuation or classification, call the City of Edina’s Assessing Division, 952-826-0365. If your concerns are not resolved after speaking with Assessing staff, you may make an appeal to the Board of Appeal & Equalization. Appeals should be received by 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 16, for consideration at the meeting. The meeting will be streamed live on the City’s YouTube channel, YouTube.com/EdinaTV or you can listen to the meeting via telephone by calling 1-415-655-0001, Access code: 133 957 5011. Appeals may be submitted by voicemail message during the meeting by calling 952-826-0377. The Board of Appeal & Equalization will meet again May 5 to take action on matters presented at the April 21 meeting.
