Access to Edina City Hall Restricted Beginning Tonight

Edina, Minn., April 20, 2021 – In an abundance of caution following the verdict in the trial of former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin, Edina City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St., will be closed Wednesday, April 21. In addition, access to Edina City Hall will be restricted beginning tonight, April 20.

Eden Avenue from West 50th Street to Grange Road will be closed from 6 p.m. tonight through at least 6 a.m. Thursday, April 22.  The City Hall parking lot will also be restricted at that time.

Because City Hall will be closed April 21, absentee voting will not be held. Most City Hall employees will work remotely.
