Blood Pressure Checks

Edina Fire Department offers free blood pressure checks at Fire Station 1 

  • 6250 Tracy Ave. South from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.  
  • No appointment necessary
  • Available as long as Firefighters are not on 911 calls

Medication and Needle disposal

Edina Fire Department does not accept unwanted medications.  Instead we will give you a drug deactivation pouch that you can use at home. Visit Fire Station 1; 6250 Tracy Ave. to pick up a pouch. You can also visit various medication drop off sites in Hennepin County.

Edina Fire Department does not accept used or unused syringes, lancets or EpiPens. Hennepin County residents may visit the South Hennepin Recycling and Problem Waste Drop-off Center located at 1400 West 96th Street in Bloomington.
