The popular piece, which, along with its sandstone plinth measures about four feet tall, captures two preschool-aged children in the act of chasing and popping bubbles. Residents may recognize “Reflecting on Friendship” from its previous location along the Promenade, where it won a People’s Choice Award in 2010.
Nicholas Legeros has a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Minnesota. For over twenty years he was an Artist-in-residence and instructor at the Minnetonka Center for the Arts. "Reflecting on Friendship" was donated to the City in 2011 through a generous donation by the Edina Community Foundation.
