Blazing trumpets, screaming woodwinds and thundering drums make up the sensational sound of the First John Philip Sousa Memorial Band. Sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department since 1973, the First John Philip Sousa Memorial Band performs in local parks and throughout the metro area.
Summer: 7 p.m. second Sunday of each month outdoors at Maetzold Amphitheater at Centennial Lakes Park. Fall-Spring: 7 p.m. last Sunday of each month indoors at the Edinborough Park amphitheater.
