Edina is a fully built-out community. As the city grows and evolves, it is commonplace to remove an old structure to develop a new structure.
Several commercial and industrial sites in Edina appear to be redevelopment opportunities. The vast majority of these sites are privately owned. Sales and listing information typically can be found on real estate websites including:
MNCAR (Minnesota Commercial Association of Real Estate/Realtors)
The Edina Housing & Redevelopment Authority owns a limited number of properties in Edina. Sites likely to be available for redevelopment in the near future:
5146 Eden Avenue
Located at the intersection of Eden and Arcadia avenues, this site is behind Jerry’s Foods and west of Hilltop Bar & Grill. This property has been the subject of several different redevelopment planning efforts. Those did not move forward despite strong interest from the development community and strong interest to see the vacant site restored to productive use.
