Artists from the community display hand-crafted work in our beautiful sunlit shop.
The Art Center Shop or Clark Gift Shop, named in honor of donors Ron and Sandy Clark, began simply on the screened back porch of the former home that is the Art Center. At the time, heavy canvas curtains had to be lowered at closing to protect the merchandise. In 1990, the porch was combined with the original garage of the building to form an enclosed reception area with gifts and supplies.
Today, the Art Center Shop displays the artwork of 75 local and regional artisans selected by our gift shop committee. In addition to the Art Center registration desk, the Art Center Shop greets visitors as they enter.
Displays of ceramics, jewelry, paintings, photographs and many other hand-crafted items are available for purchase year-round. The Art Center Shop and Margaret Foss and Tea Room Galleries are transformed into the "Up North" Holiday Sale during the winter holiday season.
Please ask our staff for assistance in choosing gifts; they are happy to help.
Artists interested in having work for sale in the Art Center Shop should contact the Edina Art Center at ACOffice@EdinaMN.gov or call 952-903-5780 for more information.
