A Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Rezoning to tear down was granted to France Equities LLC. The existing buildings at 7200 and 7250 France Avenue would be razed to make way for 309 units of housing (apartments and townhomes) and 30,000 square feet of retail. The Comprehensive Plan Amendment was required to increase the density from 30 units per acre to 65 units per acre. The rezoning is from POD, Planned Office District to PUD, Planned United Development.
