1. Set Up/Take Down Crew and Information Booth Volunteers
Shift 1: Noon to 3 p.m. (need 4 volunteers)
Shift 2: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (need 4 volunteers)
From 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., volunteers are needed to help set up prior to the event starting. Volunteers will help put up tents, place barricades and signs, help booth participants get to their booth location and prepare materials used throughout the day. From 1-3 p.m., these volunteers will staff the information booths to answer questions and direct visitors. The second shift volunteers will take over the information booths at 2:45 p.m. until the event ends. We want to leave a good impression in the neighborhood and leave no traces behind. The second shift volunteers will assist with taking down from 5-6 p.m.
2. Survey Volunteers (need 4 volunteers)
Shift 1: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Survey volunteers will help recruit visitors to complete a paper survey to see what they liked about the open streets event and suggestions to improve the event in the future.
