Holiday Gift Gallery
November 15 – December 28
The Edina Art Center displays one-of-a-kind, hand-made and carefully selected gifts for you and your loved ones during the holidays. The gallery is filled with beautifully crafted pieces created by talented regional artists that are unique and sure to delight the eye. Selections include pottery, glass, original paintings, metal jewelry, hand-painted scarves, ornaments, wearable art and much more! The variety of work changes during the six weeks of the show, so check back often. Nothing feels better than giving the gift of Art!
34th Annual Members’ Juried Art Exhibition
October 18 – November 7
The Edina Art Center was founded in 1977, and seven years later the first Annual Members' Juried Exhibition took place. Join us for our 34th Exhibition of the work of our talented members and their unique creativity and perspective. The Members' Juried Exhibition is the Art Center's largest with over 300 entries and knowledgeable judges from the Twin Cities arts community.
Crosstown Camera Club
September 6 – October 3
The photographic arts are featured in a partnership exhibit with the Crosstown Camera Club (CCC) and the Edina Art Center. CCC has been meeting at the Art Center for over 20 years, and considers the Center home. The Crosstown Camera Club holds competitions for new and returning members.
Current Makers in Clay
July 12 – August 30
The Edina Art Center began with a strong focus in pottery and ceramics, and each year hosts new talent in the field. Current Makers in Clay will reveal the diversity of clay and feature eight artists working in slip casting, hand-building, wheel throwing and altering. This exhibition will provide a venue for these quality clay artists with a rich studio practice to broaden and deepen the public’s increasing knowledge and appreciation for this fine arts craft. Artists include Mark Lambert, Kathy Mommsen, Kimberlee Joy Roth, Sue Feigenbaum, Blake Stolpestad, Jennifer Mally, Danielle Fernandez and Caitlin Dowling.
June 7 – 29
The Minnesota Mosaic Guild returns for all things beautifully pieced together in the Margaret Foss Gallery. The Edina Art Center extends a ongoing invitation to the Guild for this biennial exhibit. Each show is juried by a featured Twin Cities artist, and the finest new creations by Guild members are on view in early summer.
Art for the Garden
April 26 – May 23
Celebrate spring with the Edina Art Center's annual ode to warmer weather, brighter colors and the love of things green and in the garden. The annual exhibit features artwork of artists working in clay, sculpture, drawing and painting, jewelry - all with a garden theme. Find work to beautify your home and garden, or to inspire your own passion to create. An open reception will be held April 26, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Moments in Everyday Life: Paintings by Louise Gillis
March 15 – April 18
The quiet, intimate moments in everyday life. Artist and Edina Art Center instructor Louise Gillis is featured in this one woman show. Classically trained, Louise works in oil, pastel and watercolor and paints subjects as diverse as her mastery of mediums. On view will be new work by an artist working in the Twin Cities arts community for over 30 years.
February 8 – March 7
The Teacher/Student Exhibition is an annual event and celebration at the Edina Art Center. The work of staff currently teaching is exhibited alongside the work of their students. Viewers may see the influence of teacher on the student, or vice-versa. Join us for a light dinner hosted by the Edina Art Center and meet the instructors and students, and consider taking a class!
