If you wish to submit a program electronically, the file must conform to the required broadcast specifications as found on pages 4 and 5 of the Southwest Suburbs Policies and Procedures. Your file must then be uploaded to the Edina Playback Facility's FTP server.

MPEG Streamclip is a free program that allows you to convert your DVD to a file usable for broadcast on SWTV channels. To download, install, and use this program, please refer to the following documents.


If you are a Public Access Producer that would like to submit your program electronically, please contact the Community TV Administrator for a username and password.


Residents of the Southwest Suburbs are allowed, and encouraged, to submit informational graphics for broadcast on SWTV. Adhering to the following guidelines will minimize delays in getting your slide on air.



Hours for Media Drop-Off

Hours for drop-off are 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays. All media should be brought to Edina City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St., and left in the producers’
self-service area outside of the Communications & Technology Services Department on the first floor. Producers dropping off media after 4:30 p.m. can only access the building via the entrance off of Eden Avenue.
