House Watch
Register your house for Home Watch, if you are going on a long vacation or plan to be away from home for an extended period of time. Through the Home Watch program Community Service Officers will conduct periodic exterior checks while you are away, monitoring your property for inappropriate activity or emergencies.

Complete a block party permit if you'd like your street closed. 

Off-Leash Dog Permit and Collar
Complete and pay for a 2017 off-leash collar for Van Valkenburg Park and Strachauer Park Hockey Rink.

The off-leash area (OLA) at Van Valkenburg Park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m and Strachauer Park Hockey Rink daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for those who have purchased an off-leash collar. Dogs must wear an OLA collar, which can also be purchased at Edina City Hall.

Police Department Tours
Schedule a tour of the Department for scouts and other groups.

Security Survey Form
Schedule a Security Survey. Conducted by a member of the Edina Police Department, a Security Survey includes an assessment of current hardware and procedural security, suggestions for increased security and other crime prevention information.

Speed Trailer Request
Request a speed trailer. The Edina Police Department has one portable speed trailer. This device uses radar to display the approaching vehicle’s speed on the large display. The trailer is deployed daily (April-November) to complaint locations.

Temporary No Parking Sign Request
Request temporary no parking signs. Once the police department receives the no parking signs request, an officer will determine if a posting is needed. Please allow up to one week for your request to be processed.
