Donations & Naming Working Group

Formed in 2011, the Park Board's Donations & Naming Working Group is working to develop policies and procedures for naming and renaming City parks and facilities and accepting donations.

The Park Board will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed policies at its meeting 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 8. The public is encouraged to review the draft documents in advance of the meeting and testify during the meeting or submit written comments. Comments can be mailed to Edina City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St., Edina, MN 55424 or sent via email to mail@EdinaMN.gov.

Government Corner

Under state law, a city with a population of more than 15,000 must annually notify its residents of the positions and salaries of its three highest-paid employees. As of Jan. 1, 2013, those positions in Edina are City Manager, $156,043; Police Chief, $129,958; and Director of Engineering, $129,958.
