Neighborhood Parks

The City of Edina prides itself in providing premier public facilities. Besides City Hall, located at 4801 W. 50th St., the City operates a Public Works building, 7450 Metro Boulevard., and two fire stations, 6250 Tracy Ave. and 7335 York Ave.

The City also operates nearly 40 parks and recreational facilities, including Arneson Acres, Braemar Arena, Braemar Golf Courses, Braemar Golf Dome, Centennial Lakes Park, Edina Aquatic Center, Edina Art Center, Edina Senior Center, indoor Edinborough Park, Fred Richards Executive Golf Course and a dozen warming houses.

Alden Park

Alden Park is a five-acre park located in northwestern Edina. This hilly, grassy park is full of trees for reading or picnicking and features a beautiful path that runs through the park for walking or biking.

Arden Park

Arden Park is an eighteen-acre park located in a lovely neighborhood near 50th Street and France Avenue along the beautiful Minnehaha Creek in northeast Edina.

Birchcrest Park

Birchcrest Park is a two-acre park nestled within the neighborhoods near West 60th Street and Hansen Road in central Edina.

Braemar Park

Located in Southwest Edina, Braemar Park is 500 acres of rolling hills and scenic lakes surrounded by beautiful, untouched oak ridges. Braemar Park offers many activities from golf to soccer to cross country skiing and so much more.

Bredesen Park

Bredesen Park is located off Vernon Avenue and Olinger Boulevard. Bredesen, a 206-acre park, features over two miles of walking, jogging and biking paths that surround Nine Mile Creek.

Browndale Park

Browndale Park is a one acre park with a beautiful view of water. It is located on Browndale Avenue in northeast Edina.

Chowen Park

Chowen Park, located on Chowen Avenue, is a one-acre park in Northeast Edina. This small, charming park includes new playground equipment, a full basketball court and an open grassy area.

Cornelia School Park

Cornelia Elementary School is one of six elementary public schools within the Edina School District. It is located in the southeast quadrant of Edina, Minnesota at 7000 Cornelia Drive.

Countryside Park

Countryside Park is located in northwest Edina near Fire Station No. 1 on Tracy Avenue. This nine-acre park features new castle-themed playground equipment as well as two tennis courts and a basketball court.

Courtney Fields at Braemar Park

Braemar Courtney Fields is a 500-acre park located in the southwest corner of Edina at 7351 McCauley Trail. This park has four fenced-in baseball fields fully equipped with dugouts and bleachers.

Creek Valley School Park

Creek Valley School Park is located off of West 64th Street and Gleason Road in west central Edina. This ten-acre park has something for children and adults of all ages. This is one of the largest playgrounds in Edina with plenty of swings, and slides.

Fox Meadow Park

Fox Meadow Park is located off of Blake Road and Fox Meadow Lane in northwest Edina. This new four-acre park is a wonderful addition to the Edina neighborhood, complete with new playground equipment, a pretty gazebo, benches and walking trails.

Frank Tupa Park

Frank Tupa Park is located in northeast Edina on Eden Avenue, directly across from Edina City Hall. This one-acre park is the home of the Old Cahill School, visited throughout the year by students who want to experience a day of school in the 1800s.

Garden Park

Garden Park is a 19-acre park conveniently located on the corner of Vernon Avenue and Hansen Road in northwest Edina. This large park is the center for many soccer, baseball and softball games in the summer.

Grandview Square Park

Grandview Square Park is located across the street from the Edina Library and Edina Senior Center, and is home to several pieces of Edina's public art.

Heights Park

Heights Park is a beautiful four-acre park located on Cahill Road and West 66th Street in southwest Edina. Nine Mile Creek flows through the park with a walking path along side it.

Highlands Park

Highlands Park is a large forty-four-acre park located in northwest Edina. Highland Park is a great park for playing soccer - it features a soccer field and a large practice area for in between games.

Kojetin Park

Kojetin Park is located on West 44th Street in Northeast Edina. This three-acre park has wonderful playground equipment and benches for resting.

Lake Edina Park

Lake Edina Park is a three-acre park located off of Parklawn Avenue in southeast Edina. Part of the park has been turned into the Richards Golf Course.

Lewis Park

Lewis Park is a 21-acre park located off of Cahill Road in Southwest Edina. Lewis Park features one tennis court and two soccer fields. During snowy winter months the park has a full sized hockey rink and a warming house.
