Fourth of July Parade
Celebrate Independence Day by participating in Edina's annual parade. The biggest community event of the year, the parade begins at 10 a.m., July 4, behind Edina City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St., and ends at the U.S. Bank parking lot at 50th Street and Halifax Avenue. Several thousand people attend the parade each year.
The 45-minute parade features veterans, marching bands, clowns, floats put together by neighborhood groups and community organizations and costumed character appearances.
The Independence Day Parade Planning Committee encourages veterans, members of associations, civic organizations or organized neighborhoods to march in the parade.
For more information about the parade, visit www.edinaparade.org.
The First John Phillip Sousa Band concert and the City of Edina’s annual fireworks display is generously sponsored by Fairview Southdale Hospital through the Edina Community Foundation. The First John Phillip Sousa Band concert will begin at 8:45 p.m. at Rosland Park. Fireworks start at 10 p.m.
