Working Groups

The Edina Energy & Environment Commission invites Edina residents to join in working to promote energy conservation, recycling, clean renewable energy sources, and helping our community stop global warming.

The Commission has established several working groups:

  • Recycling & Solid Waste Working Group
  • Renewable Energy Working Group
  • Education & Outreach Working Group
  • Air & Water Quality Working Group

Those interested in serving on a working group should write to mail@EdinaMN.gov or contact Environmental Engineer Ross Bintner at 952-903-5713 or rbintner@EdinaMN.gov. Letters of interest can also be sent to Energy/Environment Commission, Edina City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St., Edina, MN, 55424. Please indicate the topic(s) that are of greatest interest to you.

Government Corner

Under state law, a city with a population of more than 15,000 must annually notify its residents of the positions and salaries of its three highest-paid employees. As of Jan. 1, 2013, those positions in Edina are City Manager, $156,043; Police Chief, $129,958; and Director of Engineering, $129,958.
