The Green Key Inn, in conjunction with Edina Chemical Health Partners, provides delicious, free punch recipes and drinks for purchase at the Edina Art Fair. The Green Key Inn also promotes the concept of being a responsible host when entertaining. Green Key Inn holds demonstrations of their punch recipes in the local Byerly's store during the holiday season.

Green Key Punch Recipes

Fruit Shimmer

½ gallon chilled orange juice

½ gallon chilled apple juice

1 tsp. lemon juice

Mix Together. Garnish with Lime and Orange Slices.
Makes 32 – ½ cup servings.

Cranberry Fizz

1 quart chilled cranberry juice

1 cup chilled grapefruit juice

1 cup chilled orange juice

½ cup sugar

2 cups chilled ginger ale

Mix all the ingredients together except for ginger ale. Add ginger ale, and serve over ice immediately. Makes 16 – ½ cup servings. (For a slightly tart, but very refreshing flavor, omit the sugar.)

Holiday Punch

1 can frozen pineapple-orange juice

1 can frozen cranberry juice cocktail

1 can frozen lemonade

1 qt. chilled water

2 – 2 liter bottles of ginger ale

Mix all the ingredients except the ginger ale. Pour mixture over ice cubes and add the ginger ale. Serve immediately. Makes 30 ½ cup servings.

Almost Wine Fizz
(A wonderful substitute for champagne)

6 cups chilled white grape juice

6 cups chilled lemon-lime soda

6 tsp. lemon juice

Mix together, and serve over ice immediately.
Makes 12 servings.

Zinger
(Tangy with a strong grapefruit flavor)

2 qt. minus ½ c. grapefruit juice

2 liters lemon-lime soda

Serve in a glass of crushed ice, with rim dipped in coarse salt.
Makes 8 – ½ cup servings.

Cranberry Punch

1 qt. cranberry juice cocktail

½ c. orange juice

3 Tbsp lemon juice

1 bottle (about 3-1/2 c.) sparkling white grape juice

Have all ingredients chilled.

Pour cranberry, orange and lemon juice in a large bowl over ice cubes (2 trays or make an ice ring using a ring mold).

Slowly add sparkling grape juice. Serve immediately.
Makes 16 (1/2) cup servings.

Under state law, a city with a population of more than 15,000 must annually notify its residents of the positions and salaries of its three highest-paid employees. As of Jan. 1, 2013, those positions in Edina are City Manager, $156,043; Police Chief, $129,958; and Director of Engineering, $129,958.
