For more than 35 years, Martha Burns Swimming School has successfully taught and trained thousands of confident swimmers of all ages. Children not only learn how to swim, but also learn how to be comfortable in the water - a skill essential for all Minnesotans. With our small class sizes, experienced instructors, and supportive atmosphere, your child will thrive, building confidence, gaining strength and improving stroke technique. Martha Burns Swimming School stands above other programs as the premier swimming school in Minnesota. There are no levels and no testing - only swim progression. Martha Burns Swimming School also specializes in teaching children who have had trouble learning. All of our instructors share in Martha's passion for swimming and teaching, and are eager to use her unique training techniques to encourage your child to enjoy the water and become a swimmer or perfect their current skills.

A : June 10-20, 8 lessons
B : June 24-July 3 (No class July 4), 7 lessons
C : July 8-18, 8 lessons
D : July 22-Aug. 1, 8 lessons
E : Aug. 5-15, 8 lessons

Fees
Session A, C, D, E : $125 (8 lessons)
Session B: $110 (7 lessons)

Classes
Minnows: Children Ages 2 - 4 Years
Children will become acclimated to the water and begin to learn freestyle and side breathing along with the back float.

Dolphins: Children Ages 5 - 7 Years
Children will learn freestyle with side breathing. They will be introduced to backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly as determined readiness by the instructor.

Sharks: Children Ages 8 - 13 Years
Children will be working on freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. There will be a focus on stroke refinement, endurance and technique.

Session A-E Times
Each session runs Monday-Thursday for 2 weeks for 30 minutes each day.
Minnows: 7:45, 8:20, 8:55, 9:30, 10:05, 10:40
Dolphins: 7:45, 8:20, 8:55, 9:30, 10:05, 10:40
Sharks: 7:45, 8:20, 8:55, 9:30, 10:05, 10:40

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the beginning of the first lesson to receive a full refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after the start of the session.

Make-Ups and Weather Cancellations
Weather cancellations will only occur when the air temperature drops below 55 degrees or for inclement weather (lightning, hail, etc.). We will contact families beforehand when lessons have been cancelled due to weather. Make-up lessons due to weather cancellations will be announced when necessary.

Please try and attend all lessons. There will be no refunds or credits for missed lessons. Serious medical illness with a written doctor's note will be handled on an individual basis.
