Braemar Golf Association (BGA) is a voluntary, non-profit organization composed of Minnesota residents who have an interest in promoting golf at the City of Edina golf facilities as a social and competitive sport. The BGA was organized on Aug. 25, 1988, exclusively as a social club within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (7) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The goal of Braemar Golf Association is to promote golf for social and competitive purposes both within and between the City of Edina’s golf facilities leagues and non-league golfers.
The association has funded many projects over the years. Resent projects that were approved and funded by the BGA Board were the addition of the Driving Range ADA Patio, Permanent Bar in the Valliere Room, Electronic Entrance Sign and Monument at Braemar Golf Course, Club Room Furniture, Banquet Sound System and Club Room Television.
