66 West

This Housing TIF District was established to encourage creation of new affordably-priced housing by Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative. The “66 West Apartments” secured City zoning approvals in 2014 and obtained funding commitments from several benefactors in late 2015.

With all funding secured, the City established the TIF District and executed a redevelopment agreement to provide $550,000 in TIF monies to the non-profit developer. Ground-breaking is anticipated in July 2016 with completion in fall 2017.
